A Recipe for Vagaballs

Vagaballs are a delicious and totally vegan sweet snack. They’re so popular here at Vagabond Temple that we find ourselves coming back to this recipe several times a week. They’re easy to make and fun to eat, and we usually have guests queuing up to lick the bowl when we’re done!

Ingredients

Makes 24 pieces

  • Coconut cream x 1 can
  • Cacao x 4 spoons
  • Cinnamon x 1 teaspoon
  • Vanilla x 1 teaspoon
  • Muesli x 1 packet
  • Sugar x 1/2 cup

Method

Take all of the ingredients except the muesli and mix together in a large pot.

Put the mixture on a low heat and stir for around one minute.

Take the pot off the heat, add the muesli and mix well.

Use your hands to shape the mixture into bite-sized balls.

Place in the freezer for around four hours and try to be patient!

For extra crunch and flavour, you can roll the wet mixture in ground peanuts or coconut. Peanut butter also works well in the mixture. You can increase or decrease the amount of cacao, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon to taste. Feel free to experiment and let us know if you stumble upon any exciting combinations!
