Our Mission To Uplift And Empower
Vagabond Temple Yoga, Meditation, and Healing Retreat in Koh Phangan, Thailand is a great place to be you, to grow, learn, heal, and connect. Our goal is to provide guidance and tools to each person, allowing our students to manifest change and live an aware and fulfilled life.
Human beings often can’t find harmony in their lives; despite its enormous benefits, the modern lifestyle leaves us disconnected from the deeper recourses within. Traditionally, there was a craving for a physical space, a temple, to fulfill these expectations. But divinity is present in every corner of the universe, in everyone.
We strove for authenticity above all, combining the great wisdom we had studied to integrate a method from the outstanding teaching at all times. We find the appropriate and relevant tools from yoga, Buddhist meditation, spiritual psychology, and energy healing. By doing it without losing the integrity of these wise disciplines, we design programs to help individuals find their own freedom through the cultivation of the mind, heart, energy, philosophy, and purpose.

OUR TEACHING
At Vagabond Temple, yoga, meditation, and healing Retreat in Koh Phangan, Thailand, we believe that to create a higher perspective and live to our full potential. Yoga and meditation are spiritual practices that have existed for thousands of years, designed to free us from obstacles and liberate us from fear by bringing us into balance and harmony. Both methods allow us to enjoy life, fulfill our potential and find our true identity.
Both yoga and meditation enable us to embark on a holistic spiritual journey by bringing our mind and body back to union and to our true nature of being part of the whole. It gives us the tools for improving our relationships with ourselves, with others, and with life by stripping away the illusions that shield us from the connection.
Yoga, meditation, and other spiritual modality direct us to perfect five main aspects of our being:
MIND
Get a focused, clear, and positive mind through meditation practices. Our mind is our most potent tool; when it is clear, positive, relaxed, and focused, we can direct the mind, make it our best friend and create magic in our lives. We develop wisdom, and we can see the bigger picture and the small details. It encourages us to let go of all distractions and connect to our authentic self and truth. We incorporate various meditation techniques, including mindfulness meditation of our breath and body sensations, love and kindness meditation (Metta Bhavana), active meditation, dance meditation, sound baths, and mantras.
ENERGY
HEART
Have an attitude of compassion and unconditional love. An open heart inspires us to design a balanced life and live in harmony with ourselves and others. When we embrace qualities of love, kindness, compassion, acceptance, and forgiveness, we open ourselves to life’s endless possibilities. We can experience a wide range of human emotions in this way yet keep our inner center and trust in ourselves and the world around us. At the Vagabond Temple, we follow the statement of the Dali Lama, saying that his religion is kindness. We teach a variety of modalities to regulate our emotions and transition into more positive, loving, and kind behavior and attitude to life, others, and ourselves. We use meditations from different traditions that raise up the loving-kindness in us.
WISDOM
Explore the ancient wisdom of varied philosophies that explain the nature of the true self and reality as it is, understanding the reasoning and the theories that function as the foundation to the spiritual practice. By knowing through our intellect, motivation increases to embody the truth of who we are and find the path to all other methods. At Vagabond Temple, apart from learning yoga, meditation, and emotional healing, we study the teachings of east and west, understanding texts from Buddhism, Kabbalah, Yoga, and spiritual philosophy of all times.
