Chococonutty Delights

These festive treats will bring holiday cheer to your home or party. Enjoy nature’s sweetest ingredients as they come together to delight your senses. Perfect for a New Year’s celebration!

Ingredients:

Serving: Makes 12 patties

Patties:

  • 1/3 cup dried coconut shreds
  • 1/3 cup peanuts
  • 1-2 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil
  • 2-3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Icing:

  • 1-2 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup cacao powder
  • 4-5 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Water (add until it reaches a liquidy consitency)
  • Sprinkles for decoration

Method:

To make the patties, blend all ingredients from the first list together until smooth. Pat into flattened balls (patties) with your hands and set them in the freezer for a minimum of 3 hours.

Prepare the icing when the patties are ready to be dipped. It will harden if you make it too far in advance.

To make the icing, process all the ingredients from the second list together until smooth. Be careful not to add too much water as it will become too liquidy. 

Finally, dip the patties into the chocolate icing, top with sprinkles and put them back in the freezer for 30 minutes.
